Hello Sonia,
First of all, thank you for inviting me to have a look at your birth chart.
The birth chart is a blueprint—or a map—for the life that you were born to live. At its simplest, it depicts the happiest and luckiest life path, one where you are the right person, in the right place, at the right time. But at a deeper level, this map has a metaphysical, or spiritual, heart to it. You were born into this world for a reason, for a purpose. Your soul has come to a certain point in its journey where there are particular lessons you need to learn. By mastering those lessons, you can leave this incarnation with a feeling that this was a good life and that you did all that you were meant to do.
Let’s embark on this sacred journey of unravelling your spiritual path together.
Chapter 1
Where do we start?
Three symbols reign supreme above all others. Two are readily apparent: the Sun and the Moon. The third one is called the Ascendant. It’s the sign that was dawning at the instant of your birth. In your case, it’s Aries.
Your Moon was in Sagittarius in the 9th house. Your Sun was in Pisces, in the 12th house.
It will take me some time to translate all this into plain English. So let’s start with your Sun, because everything revolves around it—not only in the solar system, but also in the structure of the human mind.
You see, each planet is like a voice in your head. Not to make you sound crazy. But to be human is to be subject to paradox, complexity, and a lot of hard choices, where 51 percent of you want to do this and 49 percent of you want to do that. Here comes the Sun and says, ‘Well, that’s it. It’s settled. We’ll go with the 51 percent.’
In a nutshell, the Sun is your sanity. Nurturing and attending to the Sun is the key to maintaining sanity in this world.
Pisces. The fish. But not just any fish. The fish of awareness, that dives deeply into the ocean of infinite consciousness. With every stroke of its fins and every new depth it reaches, the Piscean fish draws more energy into itself, because that is its purpose—to explore consciousness itself.
The main strategy for Pisces is to subvert the belief that the world is out there. One way to do it is to spend a few minutes each day focusing on the mind itself and simply experiencing consciousness. Meditation helps to loosen the mind’s fixation on an endless stream of information that continuously floods through the senses. Creativity works the same way. In the next line of a poem, the outer world recedes from the centre stage, and the inner world becomes solid and real.
Pisces must be fascinated with their own consciousness, but fascination alone is not enough. That fascination must also be directed and disciplined. Why? Because the mind, flooded with constant images, impressions, emotions, and memories, can turn onto itself. First, the fish simply drift; soon, life takes on its own logic, and then the numbing begins, leading to the ultimate Pisces’s shadow—escapism.
To sum it up. You have come to learn to let go of the world, Sonia. To figure out that consciousness itself is the only reality we can ever contact—and the only reality that ever needs to be adjusted.
Now, you learn all this in the context of the 12th house of your chart. The House of Troubles, traditionally, but don’t worry, there is so much more going on there!
To the mediaeval folk, the 12th house truly meant the House of Troubles. They saw it as a symbol of misfortune, associated with sickness, poverty, and imprisonment. Outwardly, it often brings setbacks like those, even if our navigation is good. But we need not respond to trouble with self-pity. We can use it. We can let go and turn it into the House of Wisdom.
You see, Sonia, there is a peaceful place deep within us that we can always turn to whenever trouble strikes. We can access it via meditation, prayer, art, contemplation, or by studying spiritual or religious texts. No matter where you are or how old you are, that peaceful centre is always available to you. This endless reservoir of creativity and resilience can help you let go of dying circumstances and start anew when the dust settles. And this practice of non-attachment becomes pivotal in understanding the lesson plan of your soul.
We can go deeper in our exploration. Instead of asking what your chart means, we can also ask why you have it in the first place. Why must you learn to release attachments? Why do you need to withdraw from time to time? Why do you need to behave as if spiritual growth were the main purpose of life?
Remember—the birth chart is a response. Whatever prompted it had to happen before 1987. There are lots of ways to interpret this: through genetics, reincarnation, or manifestation of divine will. I often use the language of reincarnation.
Let me just say that in your prior life, you had probably been subject to loss and misfortune. You had been subject to feelings of despair, meaninglessness, and existential emptiness. Above all, however, you had quietly developed immense emotional and psychic sensitivity. but you hadn’t known how to deal with it and how to use it for your benefit, so instead you might have succumbed to self-numbing, escapist behaviours.
There is more to say here, but I would like to return to your Moon and to your Ascendant for fear of losing perspective.
The Moon, which in a nutshell is your heart, is in the sign of Sagittarius. The Archer is a seeker, restless and relentless. What lies at the heart of this pursuit? Ultimately, it is the grasp of life’s fundamental meaning. To be happy, you need to immerse your mind and your senses in a wide array of experiences. The bounds of the familiar must be shattered. The provincial ‘tribal’ view must be replaced by the universal perspective.
To support this quest, you come equipped with a variety of resources. First of all, you believe that there is meaning and purpose in life. Secondly, there is a thirst for adventure and a freedom loving spirit in you, along with humour and a good degree of emotional resilience.
Having said that, your love for freedom can be so great that you can fail to commit to paths that have something important to teach you. Breadth is a virtue, but so are intensity, commitment and focus.
Looking at this position from a metaphysical perspective and asking ‘why’ instead of ‘what’, brings us to the conclusion that in prior life all this thirst was present, but wasn’t allowed to materialise due to limiting circumstances. Thus, there is now a compelling drive to get out—and stay out.
Right here I would like to mention that your Moon is out of bounds, so you can see how much you are supported to achieve your evolutionary goals in this lifetime.
A quick astronomy lesson. Imagine Earth’s equator projected onto the sky. Planets are usually above it or below it. The Moon and the rest of the planets can get a little further up North or South than the Sun can. When you were born, the Moon was 28 degrees 28 minutes South of the celestial equator. The effect of this is that the Moon is out of the reach of the big boss—the Sun.
There is a rebel and genius quality to you, Sonia. You look at the world in a different and fresh way. You think outside the box and you don’t hesitate to break the rules. Both the outsider and the exile feelings are very strong with this position.
Your moon lies in the 9th house, traditionally known as The House of Long Journeys. House 9 naturally correlates with Sagittarius, much like Pisces corresponds with house 12. Thus, all written above applies here, too. What we can do is to specify activities that will support your expansion-oriented mindset. For example, it is safe to say that travelling is an important part of your wellbeing, as is continuous education in and out of the classroom, and finding a belief system that best supports your evolution.
When you are responding positively to the 9th house, you feel vibrant and alive. You are breaking up routines and creating new patterns of behaviour and there is a clear sense of life’s purpose and meaning.
What does it look like when you are shooting yourself in the foot? Perhaps practical and material aspects take over, forcing you to be too ‘reasonable’ and predictable. You end up being bored to death with tired sermons and tales you invented years ago and are zealously defending now.
While your Sun and your Moon have a supportive relationship with each other, there is clearly one paradox between them. The main strategy for Pisces is to subvert the belief that the world is out there. And yet, for your Moon in Sagittarius, the world is very much out there. In some sense, you could end up searching the world for that special something, forgetting to look at one innate source of wonder: your own mind.
Turning to your Ascendant, the sign that was dawning at the time of your birth. It represents how you dawn onto others: what you look like, what your style is, and how you carry yourself out in the world.
We can also think of your Ascendant as the social mask you wear, or the stained glass through which the rest of your chart shines through. You see, to function effectively in the world, we must simplify ourselves. That translation may be a pale version of who we really are, but there is no other choice. Why? We can get lost in role conflicts, trying to be too many people at once. A positive response to the Ascendant means being in control of one’s life. A negative response translates into controlling others due to the feelings of uncertainty, illegitimacy, and fear that plague us.
Your Ascendant is in Aries. Your aura says to others: ‘I am a life force to be counted with. I am honest, intense and direct. I am fiercely independent. I can stand up for myself and defend others. And if you want to see the best of me, then see me in a sudden crisis, when I will act with cold and lucid efficiency.’
The dark side of the Ram lies in the misdirection of that fiery power. Instead of facing a ‘worthy enemy’, whatever its shape or form, the energy dissipates in angry outbursts and random passions.
Again, in Evolutionary Astrology, we always ask why. In this case, why were you born with this daredevil of an Ascendant? And the answer is because something or someone scared you real bad in prior life, so now you are facing the opposition in a warrior-like fashion.
Mars, the ruler of your Ascendant and the ruler of your chart, lies in 1 degree 50 minutes of Taurus in house 1.
Mars, a blood-red eye in the night sky. The god of war to the ancient folk. And the symbol of courage, assertiveness, and protection of oneself, others, and territory to modern Astrologers. When Mars plays an important role in a person’s chart, the personality is feisty and direct. Above all else, however, this planet gives you the steam to do what you please. To shape your own life and to fight anything that stands in the way.
One note before going further. Expect people to project this assertive/aggressive quality onto you, even if you said or did little to deserve it. You have a good chance of encountering more than one petty tyrant in this life, and your job is not to submit to them. This is where your Mars in Taurus comes to play.
Because with Mars in Taurus, the defensive qualities of the planet come forth. Above all else, you must fight for your peace, naturalness, simplicity, and ease. Yes, battles towards safe and natural harbours do lie ahead—and your task is to bravely face them—but at the same time, there is no need to get sucked into unnecessary fights.
How do you achieve this? Establishing a reasonable level of physical security is a good starting point. Peace cannot arise if you are constantly under practical stress. Another strategic point is to remain close to nature. To tune in to silence as much as possible. To have an animal companion or two. There is much for you to learn from creatures deeply attuned to their instinctive side. Pay attention to your own physical body in order to keep stress levels down.
And you very much have what it takes, because you come into this world equipped with a no-nonsense set of instincts about what is truly important and what is simply an excess. Every time you prioritise that which is essential to your survival and wellbeing, while distancing yourself from materialism and vain display, you are navigating successfully through the sign of Taurus.
Thinking about this position from the metaphysical point of view brings me to the idea that you could have paid too high a price for some desire or a lifestyle in a previous life. Another line of thought is that you might have succumbed to external attacks and pressures. Or that you have been exposed to trauma and dealt with it but came out of the experience badly shaken. Now you are to reclaim your peace and serenity of spirit.
Let me tie everything said thus far into one sentence. Sonia, you are a mystic, with a soul of an explorer, wearing a mask of a warrior.
Chapter 2.
There are two superhouses in your chart, Sonia. The first one is house 12, where your Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter lie. The second one is house 9, where your Moon, Saturn, and Uranus reside.
Just a quick recap.
With the Moon in the 9th house, conditioned by Sagittarius, there is a pressing emotional need to leap into the unknown, to immerse in wide experiences, and to step outside of one’s cultural training in order to live a meaningful life.
Your Moon is in conjunction with Saturn and Uranus. Let’s look at each planet separately first.
Saturn, the planet of the Great Works to the modern Astrologers, and the cosmic Frankenstein to the old ones. Traditionally associated with depression and melancholia, defeat, loneliness, and frustration. All that is true. It is an accurate description of the way Saturn manifests if we displease him. But that is not his purpose. No planet is there to ‘get’ us!
Saturn teaches us one virtue above all others: self-discipline. In other words, how to make our intentions dominate over our fears, our laziness, and our emotions.
Saturn is a planet of solitude. Wherever it lies in the birth chart, we find an area of life where we must act alone and be entirely self-sufficient.
If we learn Saturn’s lessons, we gain deep satisfaction that arises from self-knowledge and self-respect. We are strong and rooted in our faith.
Uranus, the rebel.
Hierarchies, authorities, rules, and regulations are the basis of every civilization. Without them, we would still be throwing stones at one another. But something inside most of us hates those constraints. That part always identifies with the outlaw, the rebel, the rulebreaker. In other words, Uranus. The planet of freedom and individuality. The part of us that would have remained the same, whether we were born in Brooklyn or Bombay. The part that does not buy into the myth of the tribe into which we happened to be born. The part that respects no authority. Be it a parent, a school teacher, a priest, or a president.
Wherever Uranus lies in your chart, it challenges you to be free. To be true to yourself. To develop and defend your individuality.
And in order to do that, you must manifest outwardly what you are inwardly, disregarding the applause or criticism. You must accept the burden of the revolution and leave the tribe behind. Few prospects are more terrifying!
A weak response to Uranian energy almost always involves empty, symbolic battles.
Imagine a man who is to break away from a lineage of lawyers and defend his right to live his own life, but instead he adamantly refuses to wear a necktie to office. Rebel? Not really!
Three planets. There are three distinct psychological functions that fuse together to pull you away from the place and culture of birth, from what you’ve been taught, and made believe. Ultimately, from the confinement of your previous existence.
How? There are too many possibilities. But four particular areas of life will be affected most in this regard: travel, education, philosophy, and religion.
Chapter 3.
The 12th house.
Mercury is in conjunction with your Sun. Mercury is the messenger of the gods. The planet of speaking and listening, but also thinking and all the processes of reason and logic that underlie our speech. And so the thinking energy is strong with you. Why? Because everybody’s got a Mercury, but yours is fused with your identity!
Your Mercury is in Pisces in the 12th house. The house of psychic phenomena.
Imagine: the phone rings. You reach out, touch the plastic and an image of your friend pops into your head. And sure thing—it is her. Now, I am not saying that everytime the phone rings, you know who is on the other side. But such ‘occurrences’ happen to you far too often to ignore them.
Here is another story. Imagine you are on a holiday in Italy. You walk into a church on a Thursday morning at 10:30. You are not a Catholic, and yet somehow you feel immediately silenced. Why? Because people have been praying within these walls for a thousand years! And you simply feel that solemn energy. Others that are on tour with you may continue talking, because they just don’t feel what you do.
And that is why you benefit from deeper forms of mind training like meditation, attunement to intuition, or dreamwork. That is why you would do well to expose your intelligence to metaphysical subjects and spiritual masters who had walked these paths before. As these processes deepen, the archetype of the spiritual teacher will begin to crystalize in you. That archetype is your true voice!
But beware! When you step into the role of a spiritual teacher, avoid delusional certainties. After all, the deepest mysteries of the universe can never be fully understood.
Let’s talk about another planet located in the 12th house—Jupiter. Together with Neptune, they are considered the rulers of Pisces.
Jupiter, the gift of the gods, the planet of faith. The power to say yes. Your gift, Sonia, is psychic sensitivity with a guardian angel on top. No matter where you go or what you do, you will feel the presence of higher powers.
You are poised for a major breakthrough in consciousness, and all that is required of you is to place a big bet on yourself in the spiritual realm.
Never underestimate a single bold move in that direction! Do you need a spiritual teacher? Ask, and you shall receive! Do you have some spiritual vision? Just pick up the courage and go for it. Everything will magically align.
Another point that I would like to mention in connection with Jupiter is that traditionally, it was thought of as a planet of luck. Given its location in the 12th house, one might say that some losses in this lifetime will eventually prove to be fortunate. Whether it concerns certain people in your life, study, or career scenarios, you may deeply regret losing something at the time, but later it will turn out to be a godsend.
The only thing that can ‘anger’ Jupiter is if you become spiritually complacent and stop making these bets.
Chapter 4
Turning to Neptune. The planet that plays a tremendously powerful role in your chart.
Neptune is the god of the sea. It’s really the sea of consciousness.
Neptune is on the same wavelength as mysticism. It is the idea that consciousness is not the same as the brain. That mind and consciousness existed before, and will continue to exist after the physical body is long gone.
Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces and of the 12th house, where your Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter lie. We already recognised that you were born a mystic and that you benefit a lot from solitude, meditation, and spiritual teachings. But you are also an outsider, due to your psychic sensitivity, living in a world that represents a triumph of existentialism and materialism.
Not only are you sensitive to Neptune because of the factors mentioned above, but it also broadcasts to you in a million Watts, as it sits right at your Midheaven. In other words, it is as high as it can be. It presides over other planets.
The Midheaven is the cusp—or the beginning—of the 10th house. In conventional Astrology, the 10th house is known as the house of career. But let’s look at it a little bit more deeply.
If we go back a few centuries, we find that the 10th house was actually the house of honour. Honour in the sense of position, reputation and status. In our modern world these tend to be determined by what we do for our living, hence the career notion. But by far the most accurate term for Midheaven is your mission in the world. Your cosmic job description.
A critical point here is that not everybody has a planet in the Midheaven or the 10th house. At the same time, everybody is born with a purpose. Nobody comes to this world for no reason at all. But when we speak of mission, there is the idea of touching the lives of people with whom we don’t have personal karma. The word ‘community’ comes to mind. There is a genuine need for what you have to offer in the community, Sonia.
Now, planets in the Midheaven do two things. One of those they don’t do very well, but another they do rather excellently!
What they don’t do very well is pinpointing the exact nature of your mission. You see, we have only 10 planets to describe the bazillion things you can do with your life. The planets are not useless, but they are a bit on the vague side.
The second thing that planets in the Midheaven do, and they do it really well, is that they tell you what part of yourself needs to develop before the mission comes and finds you. In the spirit of ‘When the flower blooms, bees come uninvited.’
What has to develop deeply in you, Sonia, is your Neptune, which is to say, your spirituality. Which immediately throws us back to the 12th house Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter that we already described.
As you accept the idea of being a mystic, as you develop your mind and your voice in this particular area, as you make bold moves with respect to spirituality, the archetype of a spiritual elder begins to crystallise in you. It is your mission to become a lighthouse of consciousness—and as long as you avoid the trap of self-importance, as long as you don’t get pulled into some meaningless social role, you will be called to your path.
Your Neptune is in Capricorn, of course. And Capricorn is a sign of winter. What features would help us survive one? Discipline, logic, reason, persistence, and resourcefulness. You will need to develop and use all of them in order to climb the steep spiritual mountain that lies ahead of you. Winter is also cold. So there is more inwardness and privacy. There is a need to avoid distractions and be nourished by solitary time. In other words, certain austerities benefit you. They build strength for the Great Works that you are set out to achieve.
But what if you choose not to climb? Most likely the feelings of unfairness and defeat ensue. You will grow cold and tired, with your spirit broken. Your life on earth may feel like time serving with the world around you as a prison.
Chapter 5
Another planet that occupies the 10th house together with Neptune is Venus. Venus, the planet of beauty, love and serenity.
Your Venus is conditioned by the stoic Capricorn, Sonia. And as you have just seen, the Sea-goat loves sinking its teeth into difficult projects. So what happens when focused and serious values animate one’s intimate Venusian choices?
Might there be a tendency to choose difficult relationships with difficult people? And with stoic endurance to hang in there, dining on thin, cold soup as years creep by? Perhaps, but that does not take into the account the higher ground!
Here is what an Olympic gold looks like with this position: a long running relationship, in which both people worked on themselves and on their partnership. Their relationship now resembles their ideals. To them and to everyone around it is a true masterpiece.
But, it takes two to tango. You are capable of commitment but you are not to offer it lightly. Therefore your natural partner should better be willing to make and keep promises. He should have the capacity for maturity and seriousness. We are talking about character, integrity and loyalty here.
On a lighter note. The people that you will feel the love for, will also have a bit of a hermit in them. Like Dan Hicks used to sing: ‘How can I miss you if you won’t go away?’ You need love, but you also need space to thrive.
There is more. Because your Venus lies in the 10th house—the house of one’s mission in life—we already know that words such as ‘community’ and ‘social responsibility’ resonate deeply with you. Therefore, no true soul partner will ever ask you to choose between love and your mission. In addition, you should be able to count on their support and understanding.
But Venus expands beyond human relationships. It also speaks of our capacity to return to emotional equilibrium. Paradoxically for you, relaxation comes most easily when you are engaged in some focused effort. You might work as hard at your hobbies as other people do their work.
The key here is to remember to be tender with yourself. To express your needs. And to know that if love ever becomes a task, you have a right to reconsider!
Again, in Evolutionary Astrology we never forget to ask why? Why Venus and Neptune in Capricorn? And the metaphysical implication is that in the areas of love and spirit, you experienced a sense of failure. The higher road was not taken and as a result the heart was filled with despair. This time round, you are determined to get them right, whatever the cost.
I suggest we stay with the theme of relationships and add another piece of the puzzle. Your Pluto is in Scorpio, in the 7th house.
Anything in the 7th house tells us who is worthy of your trust. Who can teach you what you have come here to learn? Who can help you heal your ability to be vulnerable?
The answer is Plutonic people.
Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld. The God of Hell. This could sound terrible, especially knowing that the God of Hell is in the traditional house of marriage. But let’s take a closer look.
The concept of hell has arisen in almost every culture in one form or another. In the western world, hell is often described as being under the ground and characterised by heat and fire. A place where you don’t want to go. So is there a place in the human mind that is so hot that we bury it and don’t ever want to go there?
Pluto represents the unconscious mind. Pluto represents a set of methods that allow us to deal with unconscious material. Now, that material becomes unconscious in the first place because we are not comfortable with it. The ego banishes it and pushes it down. So, apriori, Pluto’s work is intense.
Here is an imaginary scene from your life. You are with one of your precious friends, and you are talking about some difficulty or challenge in your life. She is listening carefully. You know she loves you, you know she respects you, and you know you can trust her. You finish your speech, and she looks a little hesitant for a moment, and then she says, ‘Sonia, I think there is something you are not dealing with here, but I don’t want to tell you something that you ultimately don’t want to hear.’ Your response? ‘Do tell me!’ Because such is your nature. In a way, you give your friend permission to violate your boundaries. And so she does. She offers you an interpretation in which you are far more part of the problem than you had originally described. And of course your ego is not happy; you don’t want to hear this. It feels painful, offensive, and insulting. But after a few moments, chances are you say, ‘Thank you. You might be right there.’
You came that close to being defensive, but you were not. That’s high Pluto. And that is a superpower you were born with: the ability to look straight into the eye of the devil. In other words, emotional courage, psychological understanding, and a willingness to face our own hurts, and also to recognise the hurt we have done to others.
Thus, having a close relationship with you is an intense process. It is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but for other Plutonic individuals. Friends and partners who are willing to listen to you, share their uncertainties with you, and learn from you. Passionate and self-regenerating. Capable of great transformations.
Just beware of their wayward cousins: the power-trippers, the self-appointed gurus and psychologists, and the self-involved wounded wanderers ready to thrust their pain upon you.
But where does this capacity to deal with psychologically charged material come from? As speculative as it may sound, I believe that you have been exposed to something deeply painful and disturbing before. Perhaps in childhood or in the teenage years. In evolutionary astrology, we can even suggest a prior life wound. In any case, this exposure to the shadow side of life has taught you a great deal about human complexity and darkness.
Who were you in a previous life? The key to answering this question lies in your South Node of the Moon. I am mentioning it right now because it’s there in your 7th house.
Chapter 6
South Node of the Moon is not just a guided tour of your past life, but something much more explicit. It represents your unresolved karma. It may be something you got wrong in your past life. Or maybe it is something you got right, but you got damaged in the process. We might also consider the possibility of plain tragedy. Then it’s no longer a question of right or wrong. Tragedy leaves a mark. Just as being touched by the evil of the world does.
Now I don’t want to say that the South Node is entirely negative. There are many layers to it after all. But the essence of the South Node is the stuff that holds us back. It is our karma. And karma is basically a habit. A lot of people think of it as a punishment. Like you stole somebody’s horse in the prior life, somebody will steal your car in this life. But karma is really just a habit. Repeating habits, making assumptions that don’t work, but still following them. Isn’t that enough of a punishment?
I am going to sound a little abstract as we prepare to dive into this theory. Your South Node lies in Libra and in the 7th house.
Libra is a sign of partnership. The 7th house, as we have already seen, also resonates with partnership, but also with intimacy and trust.
The planet that rules Libra is Venus, the goddess of love. So this karma, in terms of the South Node, the house, and the ruler, is nothing but relationship themes. You brought into this world some difficult and unresolved karma around human intimacy and trust. They hurt you in the past.
Venus is attractive. So I think in your prior lifetime, you were a beautiful woman, Sonia. If we were naive, we might think, ‘Lucky you!’ following the poisonous idea that your face is your fortune. But in practical terms, the doors were open to you, because of your charm. You were viewed as desirable. You could ‘marry well’, which usually meant marrying socially upwardly. You could have been like a trophy, marrying for money. Of course, with our wisdom cap on, we realise the dangers that would come with such a marriage. The South Node spells danger. We are looking at you as an object. Probably given away for money.
You have an Ascendant opposing your South Node. We can add an element of self-sacrifice here. There is an imbalance between tending to your own needs vs. looking after the needs of others, where the scales tipped heavily towards the latter. We can also say that you really longed to be more independent and self-sufficient, but you could not get around it in your prior life.
With Venus in Capricorn in the 10th house, we can highlight the theme of social duties and obligations, and add feelings of time-serving, endurance, austerity, and ultimately, of growing despair to the unfortunate mix.
Neptune in Capricorn, in the 10th house squares the South Node. More on the above. You actually believed in this role that was chosen for you. You believed in a person who shepherded you towards it. You believed in this social and cultural construct.
And this is how your trust towards other people and their intentions eroded.
The North Node of the Moon represents the antidote, a medicine to counteract the poison. It points towards your evolutionary future. And yours lies with Aries, ruled by Mars, in the 1st house.
First and foremost you are learning to trust your gut instinct. You are learning to make your own choices in life, because now you know that if you don’t, others will make them for you. You are learning to say ‘no’. You are learning to take a stand and to defend it. You are learning not to give too much power to the fear and to act in spite of it. You are embracing directness and the right use of force. You are evolving towards independence, where the first step is dropping some of that reflexive engagement with other people’s needs and ensuring that you have plenty of soul-nourishing time alone.
May the rest of your chart serve as a guidance on this journey!
